The formulation development phase of any new product can consume a fair amount of time and energy. Although most of the products we manufacture are also developed by our own in-house team, we find that using the services of an outside formulator can sometimes be cost effective for the client. Nutraceutical formulation is a bit more complicated,…actually a lot more complicated than regular food recipe development. When specific nutritional profiles and ingredient inclusions are required to create a recipe that actually functions up to its claims, time and expertise are needed to get it right. While we can handle full start to finish product development for you, Nutri-Nation's primary business focus is on high quality, cost efficient manufacturing. Also, we do respect our relationships with outside formulators.

Nutri-Nation can work in several different ways to accommodate our customers' varied needs. We can:
Use your formulations…If you have an established formula that you would like to have made in our facility, we will arrange to evaluate it as to how we think it will run on our production system. Initial samples and a general ingredient listing of your current product are usually sufficient to determine their compatibility with our equipment. After an initial review of the live samples, we would proceed to a more detailed look at the formulation. This would be, of course, after appropriate non-disclosure documents were handled.
Use one of our established formulations…with little or no modification. This is the quickest, least costly alternative to get a product launched or a line extension added. Another advantage of working with one of our existing formulations is the fact that they have already been optimized for our production system.
Have a new formulation developed…by Nutri-Nation or a third party formulator. We work with a number of outside nutraceutical formulators and food science people with varied backgrounds and expertise. Contact Us Today
